Want To Be Heard? Then Participate Pasadena
Homeowners often feel like their voices go unheard only to turn to vent on social media and at the property line with neighbors. Well, there is an official forum for you to voice your concerns regarding development and future construction in Pasadena and it is coming up tomorrow.
Participate Pasadena is a free open forum for community engagement. Helmed, run and founded by the passionate preservationists at Pasadena Heritage, the forum isn't only for homeowners of historic properties, it is actually designed for all residents concerned with the future of development in their neighborhood.
Most residents are aware of our desperate need for more housing (this is why home values have spiked lately). With a huge demand for more housing, we may see changes to zoning and construction permits that could forever change the way our city looks. If you are worried about what could happen in your neighborhood in the future, then you should attend.
The March 14th program will cover upcoming changes and concerns to both the Pasadena Specific Plan and Mansionization.
The event is free but registration is required. Go to:
