Houzz recently completed a study on kitchen design preferences and projections. Almost 2,000 homeowners were polled on recent or upcoming renovation projects. As we know, not all renovations provide a positive return and some style choices could hurt a sale.

-L Shaped Design is preferred over what has been the go-to layout of U-Shaped.
-Engineered quartz counters surpasses granite as the countertop material of choice.
-63% surveyed stated that adequate storage is the most important feature of a kitchen.
-Voice controlled appliances are rising in demand
-Engineered wood is gaining favor on hardwoods.
